Lightning flashes, Thunder crashes Before you looms the storm, The inevitable destructive force of nature. You know the storm will come Nothing you can do will stop it Reaching out, you embrace the cold iciness of the earth The power of stasis, unchangeable, unmoving Reaching out, you embrace the fiery warmth of the heavens The power of change, always moving, ever changing The two powers swirl inside, in perfect balance Outside, the storm rushes in You embrace it, revel in it, for you know Nothing can stop you Embracing the storm, you can feel it's power See it's lines of energy, rushing and swirling in it's dance of destruction Reaching out, you give this one a tug, that one a push This one here should remain where it's at Pulling and prodding you manipulate the storm Force it to your will Guiding it along the paths that will do the least harm The storm continues to surge around you Nothing else exists but you, the storm, the need to survive An eternity passes, the storm begins to subside You still stand, stronger, more resilient than ever Looking out across the land Much is changed, completely unrecognizable Enough has remained though that you can continue The crops will grow and provide food for the coming season And next season, the destruction that raged here will bring about great rewards.
